Financial Sackles

There... as of today i quit my job as video retail sales assistant, looking for a better job worth of my talents. Come to think of it none of those jobs which i worked really need this talent of mine.. or am i just been picky...

Anyway, this past half a year, financially, the worst of the 24 years of my life. Jobless for a few months, with bills and such kept piling up and even hardly can pay the house rental all those months. I even had have to borrow money from my working brother to pay the bills of my half and for my everyday use ( food and such) .

Even worst I feel like I been working to pay off those piled up bills and my bro's money. Well, all those due to some unwise decisions i made the since the end of last year. Now end up owning a lot of people's money *cry* Streamyx bill, rental, electric and water bill, ex housemate deposit.... i going crazy here @.@

Oh what the heck, better go solve it or die trying.

A Typical Day in May

Uh... the alarm rang. I opened my eyes and look at the time- 8.30am. Ah.. wished i can sleep a little more, having a nice dream just now. Another working morning .. why it is not noon today....

I prepared myself, have a quick bite and hit the road by 9 am, heading to a supermarket at the other side of the area. And 1/2 hour later... i opened up the Speedy store's shutters and get everything ready for the day... Aih, my other co-worker was late again.. hoped he arrive soon. Sigh, need to do daily clean wiping the videos again..

1.30 pm. Wait almost forever for the time. Almost bored to death... not much to do anyway. Just stand and watch the customers which were hardly any at the time. As soon as my 2nd co-worker arrived, i off to lunch. Finally. Better quickly buy something to read while eat.. i only got 40 minutes.

Try to help around when new stocks arrived, putting in security sensors, repacked and such.. better than nothing to do. Sigh, not much help i can do, my co-workers can get the job done much faster. My supervisor rather have me to watch for customers so nothing get stolen. Damn, felt sleepy already...

Another break on 5pm and there i went for a quick bite while read in the nearby food court. By then the number of customers have increased. Uh, a bunch of kids just came in.. better watch them carefully- they can be rather quick in the hand. Some even worst, bringing ice creams and let them drips on the VCDs.. Argh, gonna clean those later.

Night time. I make myself useful managing the counter. Everything is computerized- scan it, type in the cash recieved, and gave back the balance accordingly. Kaching! Uh.. another credit card payment for a little stuffs there... Buy more la uncle.. heh.

Yeah, 10.15 pm.. better get ready to close the shop. Did a quick DVDs stock counting, putting away those ad-board cut outs and setting out the shutter doors steel beams. 15 minutes later, everything closed and shut. Time to head home. But before that, have a late dinner at a nearby mamak.. Sigh, no friends to accompany me tonight.

Have a bath, read a bit and depend on the shift tomorrow, watch a movie. Ah, good. Noon time tomorrow- digital draw a bit in the pc, heh. Need to brush up my skills there.

2.24 am. Set the alarm and turned off the lights. And hoped to continue the previous dream :D

Back To Hometown

Hoo~ it's been awhile since the last post... working for almost 3 weeks liao. Gonna get my 1st pay the next day or the next *grin* Well, everything goes quite smoothly at work and i seems to take it well hehe... learn quite a few things here and there...

Anyway.... now i took a few days off so that i can go back hometown, though i wished i can do so on Mother's day next week but i can only make it tis week. Well, might as well go back sooner... need to see my ailing grandpa and also he want to see me... Sad to see him bed ridden these days, he used to walk around the house some time ago..... *sob* Now he is the only grandparent i have and i really dunwan something to happen to him.. Hope he can get better.... the whole family clan is worrying :( Too bad i cant stay here for long... need to get back to work on Tuesday *sigh*

Hectic Day Off

Yo, I finally have my 1st day off work... Yep, i finally got work liao *giggle*, thou only work since a few days ago.. heh. Now i work as a sales assistant of a video retail store (original products one) at a nearby shopping complex (no transportion fees *grin*)

Ya, it's a different line of work but wat to do.. i need money and they need a worker so thats alrite wif me. Besides it a stress-free work with minimum fuss *grin* but u need to get use to standing up for long hours >.<"

Anyway, today i spent my day on a wild goose chase- searching for a particular bank to open a new account with, since my salary is bank in straight by the company. Tis RHB bank really quite rare in my surrounded area... the first one i went had its system down after waiting forever for a bus to reach there.. Luckily they told me there another branch nearby but still i need ride two buses back to back to reach there. As they mentioned it is around Giant hypermaket there, so i search the area around it. Felt dumb- founded when i was told it is inside Giant after i asked 1 merchant there.. *slap forehead* Well, i got it made but i still have to go back there tomorrow to get the account booklet.. sigh~ There goes my day off tomorrow...

Anyway.. i hope tis job can last till the day i wan to really resign... for a better job of course. XD

Down and Out

Okie, my streamyx at at home was down about a week ago due to some unpaid bills :p and i dun tik i able to make it up and running any time soon... have to wait till i got a job to pay the bill at least =.="
So i will be out of any online socializing for quite some time T.T

Gaia Dream Avatar Creator

I came across tis site, http://www.tektek.org/dream/dream.php during my surfing my one of my usual sites... It a kinda character stimulator genenator for an online game, Gaia Online. Little known about tis game though.. since i having so much fun making characters from tis web. And here is some of them that i manage to create :p

Well, tis is as close as i can get to Evil Arthas from Warcraft. Chouldnt find a better heargear for him though.. I also made a Naruto and Kakashi look alike as well from the website.... cute, lolz

Elfen Lied

Ok, another anime review. Since this anime is only 13 episodes plus an OVA, i able to finished it in almost 1 night and an afternoon. Yeah, I'm pretty free u can say that, lolz.

Anyway, Elfen Lied is based on a manga by Lynn Okamoto and was produced by VAP in 2004. The story centers on Lucy, one of the human mutants (aka homo superior lolz) called "diclonius" which have horns on their heads ( look more like cat ears than horns) All diclonii (plural) possess Vector, invisible arms that can stretch and slice human bodies like tofu and throw things at lethal speed that are lying within their "arms" length which are vary between diclonii.
Back to the story- Lucy, in her escape from the facility that locked her up, got hit in her head and fell into the sea. She then drift into care of two normal teenager, Kouta and Yuka. But Lucy's mind has reduced to the state of an infant and was named Nyuu due to the only sound she able to make then. And her captives begin to search for her due to her dangerous abilities.

Ok, before you watch tis anime, let me warn u a bit- it filled to the brim with graphic violence especially in the starting escaping scene where Lucy is killing soldiers left and right O.0 Also there are a lot of nudity ;) But the core of the story deals with the inhuman of so-called humans, acceptance, love and forgiveness with a lot of social and psychology issues thrown in. All in all, it's 1 of the best anime i seen.

And do take notice in the opening and ending sequences, they r based on the famous painting of Gustav Klimt, a great fine artist. Nice.

Updates and Review

Woah~ it been some time since my last update. Anyway i been "busy" doing some stuff... lazed around, playing and sometimes find a job.... Yeah, still cant find any work yet and my cash is almost depelted T.T
I even went to KLCC a couple of days ago to have some walk in interview as a promoter and now still waiting whether i got the job or not .. lolz

Anyway, i bring myself to do some artwork since i had nothing better to do. It's a good start anyway and at least it can be a part my portfolio *grin*

Well, it a digital portrait of myself (manganized) with a came-to-life-monster as a backdrop. Hand-drawn and coloured with Adobe Photoshop. It's not by Marvel standard but i quite satisfied with it. Still, i got a lot to improve :p Hope i can come up with another art soon.

Anyway, I able to finish the 25-episodes anime series, Berserk by yesterday after sometime. This 1997 anime by Oriental Light and Magic is based on a manga series of the same title by Kentaro Miura. It tells the story of Guts, who was forced to join a mercenary army, Band of Hawks who lead by a incredibly ambitious and charismatic Griffin. They eventually become good friends and thus lead the Band of Hawk to become a great army in the kingdom. But in mist of the action, a great godly evil makes its presence which in turn changes everthing.

Too bad the series ended with a cliffhanger with no sequel in sight by the studio. Luckily the series only cover half of the manga which i will search later on *grin* A recommented watch to action fans ;)

Face Life Again

I'll be going back to KL later today - to continue fulfilling my responsibility to go on living sucessfully. Theres a lot to do when i get back. Find a job to do, maybe find a new place to move into ( the rent is a killer for just 2 guys living there), settle everthing that been put away all these while, and do some self improving stuff (need to buff myself up).

I really hope things will change for the best since there been some pretty down moments in my life recently. I guess to make a change in my life i need to change myself first. Hope I dun get too hard on myself.

May the Year of the Dog brings good things in my way.

Mangaka In The Making

I have been living here, with my family for more that 2 weeks.. longest time ever since i moved out to live indepentdently in KL. Here I really felt laze out since everything is provided here :P
Life in KL can be really hectic =.= Once back there i have to work hard, think and plan of everythings- work, rent, bill, food etc
Well, that wat u get in exchange for freedom and independance haha~

Anyway, if all goes to plan i gonna get back to KL this week... To get on with my life :D
And to start afresh...... well, make that a second time this year haha~ I think i start with wat i really want all time... make my own manga and hopefully make a living and fame out of it. I know it not gonna be easy especially in tis country and wif my limited exprience... but tis is wat i want and i will work for it.
If luck has it, maybe i'll be the next Akira Toriyama, who living off (i think) from his famous creation Dragon Ball manga. heh~
Well, wish me luck and all the best :D

Holiday Fever

Haiz~ I was down wifh a fever this morning with a spitting headache as a bonus... Seems this year's CNY didnt go well with me >.<" The ailment forced me to visit my first doctor in years...
Still, my mum had to drive around town to seach for an open clinic... bad time to go for a doctor since doctors need to lunch too...
After 1/2 hour of driving finally found 1 opened for business.. >.<" By that time, i already semi concious - made worse by the blazing afternoon heat...

Anyway... after spending the whole day rebooting myself in bed, finally got a bit better now. Guess I really must take a better care of myself when i back to KL And get into a habit of drinking water more often and excersice more, heh.

What I Really Want?

I been a bit confused lately.... running away from wat i been doing weeks before the holidays.
Yeah~ it is kinda fun with u guys but i feel this is not the time for me to do this business. I very sure this is not wat i want. I dun have wat it takes to be in this :p Thanks for intro me into this business.. it been an enlightening experience for me.
For me being rich is another defination all together.... not everyone will understand me. And i dun expect u do..

Anyway, hope we still friends :) I sure u all will do well without me.
And dun worry bout me... i will ok :p

Opps ~ There Goes My Lung...

Haizz~ why cant god let me enjoy the holiday comfortably....
Just as soon my sore throat was better, i got myself a coughing fit. So terrible, i tot i gonna cough my lungs out and cant even had a good nite sleep >.< My mum now telling my to drink that and eat tis.... Now i felt i had more medicine than food. I oso have been drinking cough mixture like water.. sigh~
Anyway.. i hope it will not last long too totally ruin my year. I still havent tasted some of my fave food here T.T

The Pain~~

Ouchie~~ wat a way to celebrate the new year.
Got myself a terrible sour throat... the pain numb my whole face everytime i swallow something >.<" dont even have the appetite to eat.. and cant even eat my fav CNY tibbits cos the food is "heat" type.
Serve me rite for not drinking enuf water during the last week when the weather was not good...

Anyway, hope you have better days than me haha... and do take care on wat u eat in this festive season. And also hope u get a lots of ang pows .. lolz.

Happy Chinese New Year~

Yo~ been some time since my last update.
Been buzy building up my career the last few days.. hardly anytime for anything else :p

Anyway I will be in my hometown, Pontian ( in Johor btw) for about a week at most... catching up wif wat really matter, my family there :D

I kinda concentrating on my studies, work and life here in KL that I hardly really know how my mum and my bros been coping wif life in home. Even my family back there hardly know wat I been doing here.....

Well, hope i can make up with them during this time at home.

Locked and Unloaded

Wat a way to start the day~
I accidentally( totally cant remember pushing the locking button) locked myself out of my room while i wash my face tis morning with everything inside -keys, wallet, handphone. I cant even go out to ask for help- maindoor locked too :p

Try ramming the door ( not enuf body mass), picking lock ( just try :p), card sliding ( no cards to slide - plastic folder) but to avail... Luckily there a house phone in the living room (which i nvr used before). So i called up my bro who in turn give me a few contacts who live nearby ( i cant remember any number:p) Thanks god, a friend was free to help. She went and called a locksmith up.

Unfortunately he had to break the main door lock to get it (wasted) since that type cant be picked... Anyway the room door is unlock and I can finally get my day going... tis ordeal wastes a few hours today >.<" And also i need to part wif my RM50 for the locksmith's service T.T

Anyway, a few lesson have learned- hide an extra key, dun be too careless and have some contacts number nearby in case of an emengercy.

And a big big thanks for my friends who got involved into tis especially RX. Hontoni arigato~

Stuck Between Two Heavens

I having a life changing dilemma now...
I just got pulled into another multi level marketing firm this afternoon just after I attended a motivating course by Amway.

At first i thought is another Amway or other lesser firm member looking for another downline. Then what I have to face is one heck of a competitor... After hearing a brief product intro and its marketing plan, I was totally dumbfound.. Thats one smack in the face in Amway in term of marketing and money making speed... Ironically just when i began to be interested in Amway.

Now i was given a choice of a lifetime... make it big in Amway where trusted friends are or make it bigger in more easier venture? I can only choose one or never.

Now even thinking of it make my head hurt.... Help~

Anime Marathon No.1: Witch Hunter Robin

Lolz~ Spent these few days watching this 2002 anime series from Sunrise, Witch Hunter Robin.
Just finished the whole 26- episode flick lolz.

The premise goes like this:
Witches are individuals with special powers like ESP, telekinesis, mind control, etc. Robin, a craft user, arrives from Italy to Japan to work for an organization named STN Japan Division (STN-J) as a replacement for one of STN-J's witch hunters who was recently killed. Unlike other divisions of STN, STN-J tries to capture the witches alive in order to learn why and how they became witches in the first place.

What interesting bout tis anime is things is not wat it seems to be... the story seems a bit like X-Men-ish along the way :p
Anyway a good and interesting anime nonetheless.

Now I got another anime marathon to run :P
